i booked the flight tickets way back on 21st Feb 2011, 3 days after i say ok to be my boyfriend's girlfriend B) One good eight months, suming it all in one, i enjoy every single bit of the time.
We had some down times but mostly up, we even made a commitment together.

We placed a downpayment for an apartment. Looking forward to walk this path further..further with him =)

It has been 5 months and we're still seeing each other EVERYDAY
And no... we're not saying this to each other yet...

In fact, we really enjoy every single minutes we spent together
At least for me YES!! I enjoy them a lot.
.
Some people may have the perception that couple seeing everyday isn't a good thing.

Things like..."You guys see each other everyday, you'll be bore with him and he'll get sick of seeing you too much!" OR "Seeing each other too much creates more chances for argument"

Honestly, i don't feel these negative feelings. On the other side, meeting up, talking to each other is one thing i look forward to after a tiring work day. I'm glad that he could just side down and listen to all grumble mumble i have about my day, my work and all possible silly things that may have frustrated my day. And after all those that i've complain.. all he have to do and never fail to cure me.. its with his TIGHT BEAR HUG... i know its awww and i love it.. (typing this makes me smile)

There's no any other better way i can ask for but laughter, conversation and silly jokes we made to end my day. The perception of argument due to seeing each other too much are totally determine by the couple themselves that's what i believe.

As true as the cliche sounds, " it takes two to argue". I believe that YC and i have grown enough in terms of mentality that shouting and yelling at each other doesnt't work well in a relationship. No doubt at times we may have slight disagreement with each other. But we never allow it over night. All in all, i'm enjoying every single bit that im doing and living now.

Anyway, i'm currently at UITM Alor Gajah for my event. Am missing him dearly.

Last February 19th i started a new relationship.
I never knew i would in be in love again.
Especially after such a short time frame from the previous.
More unexpectedly, he is one that i never thought we could be partners
Never cross my mind. At all =)

We never have much connversation, never hang out much during school times.
Forgetting to mention he's my high school mate
He's a prefect and i'm a prefect.
So most of our conversation do not circulate far from prefectorial.

Anyway, after almost 6 years.
Here we are now, a couple for almost 6 months.
I'm glad we started and am enjoying every single bit of time we're together

Its hillarious when some schoolmates bump into us and saw us hand in hand.
The million dollar shocking face from a far was priceless
Like i say, i didn't expect this too =p

Human are undecided creatures. If you disagree with me, better think twice because i'm confident it happen in everyone's life. Reason: At some point time, its so frequent that we heard people mentioning that time passes by too quickly.. Too quickly and it never return. Unlike heading for a direction on the road, we can always make a U-turn. Unlike scribbing the wrong word on the paper, we can always erase it as easy as we wrote it. But this philosophy just don't apply on time. Faster faster , quicker quicker... Then you ask for slower-indecisive..

I wish time go slower on weekends, i wish time go even slower when its Friday so that i can have a longer friday and not move on into sunday. More specifically, a longer Friday evening would be best. However, like i said human change their thoughts frequently. As frequent as they go to the loo. I wish time go by faster for this phase of life and just erase the blues away as i'm truly exhausted, emotionally.

Thanks to my grandpa, i have many cousins. Two hands are definitely not enough to number my cousins. Being top 3 in my cousinhood, i certainly did babysit a number of them.

And the all time favourite and annoying one. I babysitted this fella every now and then since 3 months old till 13 years old. I cleaned his milk bottle, changed his diapers and bathed him

Over a period of 13 years, everyone is growing up and i suppose he is the last young cousin that i spanked the most, scolded the most, pampered the most and annoyed by the most.

Last few days, i came across his FB profile and saw this.
And this made me realised he has grown up, maybe not fully in terms of mentally but he surely did grown up. The thought of him being an annoying kid just brushed away. Not sure if he copied the below from somewhere but i like it, i like it =)

Ain't imaginary

My boyfriend ain't imaginary. It was seriously HILARIOUS when friends of mine think i have some issue differentiating reality and imagination. They were so kind and concern bout my mental health and worrying so much that i MADE my own boyfriend in my own mind. I just love my friends for being so "caring"
.
But here and now, i shall yell, HELL No0000.. I have no imaginary problem, my friends. My mental health is just as healthy as yours. But one thing, i shouldn't blame them because the number of friends who saw Andy just doesn't exceed 5
.
And only recently i realised, SL a friend whom i befriended for 10 years only able to meet Andy for the 1st time this year. I don't blame people who thinks i have an imaginary companion =p
.

With uncountable ups and downs in 4 years time, we certainly did learnt alot from one another. Of course we did not go through any "James Bond Action" times or any "The Day After Tomorrow" slots but we did went through some Korean drama series experience together. It wasn't the sickness and dying thing but mostly arguments and disagreements which leads to stream of tears.

There are nothing to hide from our friends that we had plenty of such sour times, it even brought us to the stage of breaking up. Not once or twice but a few. As dramatic as a Korean series could be, we are together again time after time. breaking up again and together again and breaking up again and NOW together again.

Andy is always hoping for me to be a better "lady". A lady with politeness which i lagged a little (girl school ma, sitting on the floor crossed-legged in a skirt is a norm ler). As for me, i'm hoping for him to be more understanding. We had many arguments and of course, we had many discussion on our relationship too

We have plans that we both looking forward and wish and will fulfill them in years to come. We both know we had our roles to play and things to change to make things happen.

All in all, no matter how bitter and sour we've been through, we just will and still love each other dearly in the bottom of our heart. Reaching the understanding that only both of us know is not any easy job. Having know what each other thinking without even without uttering a word.

I know travelling this road is never easy and simple but i know if we both are just as committed and believe it in our heart, we can grow as strong as a tree of hundred years of age.

Last week was my mom's birthday. My brother brought us for a crab session.

Being a big fan for seafood, i surrender to my temptation despite me being allergy to seafood.

*rash curse*

Anyway, it was my mom's birthday and i got her a pearl white gold necklace.

*i like it myself, so buying for her would mean sharing with me *

teehee =p

I'm thinking now that.......

There's this one thing that i seldom mention to her, perhaps not even once a year or may be never

That is " i love you, mom".

Being asian family, display of affection is never in our roots.

Probably i did say i sayang her alot but never in a firm or serious manner, i did it in a joking way.

Anyway, i really love her dearly. My mom being my mom and dad at the same time makes me love her even more dearly.

As i stroll through my photo albums today, i realised she has aged from one photo to another.

So i guess i have to love her more and take more photos of her to avoid drastic difference between each photo the next time i surf my photo albums..

I did some casual shopping and snacking with a girlfriend of mine last weekend. Being myself who couldn't resist Ikea's curry puff and Vanilla ice-cream, i had my 1st round of snack session there.

Just when my girlfriend and i sat down on the bench enjoying our ice-cream, i noticed a little boy and a little girl sitting bout 5 metres in front of us.

From their behaviour, i know they were siblings. Chasing around and child-wrestle here and there on the bench. I myself not sure when i begin to like watching kids. But looking at their typical children behaviour just makes me smile. Probably its the oestrogen playing tricks in me =p

As i observed longer, I felt the bond between this 2 kids. At first, the boy tried some mix matching skill and experimented on the ice-cream. He added some extra orange juice flavouring to his sister's ice-cream .

Then, his sister had a bite on the ice-cream while the boy watched her doing it.

.

After that, the brother took a bite while his sister watched him. I just love this picture, what a beautiful moment.

After a while, i thought of my brother and i. Can't recall if we had such experience perhaps never. Even there is, i bet its a photo of us snatching from each other rather than sharing. lolx.

i have been working for 8 months now and i am still learning. I know learning curve is unstoppable unless i put a fullstop on it. Everyday i'm learning something new and today i learnt something relating to human communication cum personality. I really have to thank my clients for giving me all the trouble and challenges so that i can learn and learn. Having over 700 clients in my firm, learning, flexibility and adaptation is a must.

One of my client has anger management problem and the other client of mine hate changes on plan and the other client always ALWAYS... wants documents perpared on the spot, PRESSURE!! And the other always says his assignment are very urgent..
.
Working life is crazy. Its all about communication, understanding, deaf ear on the left and alert ear on the right, handling people and issue solving and multi-tasking the ultimate requirement.

They are zooming by like jet plane. Its here Thursday again when i thought Thursday was just yesterday... Oppsss... the Thurdays that i mentioned, it was last's week's Thursday and not this week's Thurdays and here today, this morning i'm living this week's Thursday. And Friday is waiting eager for me tomorrow!!!

I'm not sure where did all my time go but one thing i know, my week changed to gear-5 from Wednesday onwards. For last week itself, I had 2 classes, one on Thursday and one on Friday. And there fly my 2 days being an employee and a tutor.

I met a client on Friday and...

For Saturday, I attended an awesome workshop on Saturday bout Personalilty/ Leadership. Its not any other tom jack and harry workshop but one that really go in depth. I've been to numerous workshop during my student life and this is totally different. I was being personally profiled for what i am. Will share my profile one day.

On sunday, i headed to a mountain, not climbing with feet but with car.. It was an unplanned event with the thought of feeling some cool breeze, Andy and i headed to Genting and we went for motion master. The last ride i had was bout 10 years ago if not more. And the next, it was monday again and thursday NOW!!! Class again tonight!!

I was dumbstruck on the bed when i realised i accidentally DELETED all my pictures in the camera.

DUMB-STRUCKED!!!

Totally non-reactive for a moment. I deleted my graduation photos, gatheringzzz photos but what was really sayang was... i deleted the Cameron Highland photos which i took last saturday on my weekend getaway day trip

Lesson to learn, never guinea-pig on any function of the camera when you have unloaded pictures inside!! It all happened when i was figuring out what the "formating" function of 975 kb means, with my fingure reacting faster than my brain,

i TER-press the OK button to format the camera and appear on the screen next was

"NO IMAGE"

making time out of no time

Distractions... There are so many of them in our life. We are so carried away in our everyday life, so busy rushing through a shower and heading to the road or stuck in the LRT. Cursing people who overtake without signaling, cursing the person next table who are smoking i'm having my meal, having client turning up in office demanding for docs without notifying ealier. Sometimes, its so hard for me to find time for myself which i hope i can. I just want to sit down and think, think and think of my life and future. How many of us actually take 5 mins a day just to reflect our daily happening? I guess very few of us do and that include me. This would be even more difficult for me now since i'm doing tutoring and insurance as well. Five days a week would all be work and work and no ponder ponder time. So from today onwards, I'll FIND TIME to do this. I'll make time everyday to think of the ways to improve myself, to do things better than what i did yesterday.

The last time i have deep thoughts of my life was during my study leave. Those were the days i can lay on my bed and ponder on life. I don't call it day dreaming, because day dreaming has no direction and plan. I love to think of the future filled with hope and positive energy. I personally have a very strong feeling of success in me which i hope and want to nurture it to be reality. I believe that I'm more fortunate than many other people the same age as me. I have a great start in my school days that allow me the abilities to speak fluently, able to conduct a presentation without feeling afraid, to communicate and mixed well in a new environment. If not for my mom who sent me to the Big-Backside-Girls-School, i wouldn't be who i am today, a person with confidence. Thanks mom...

Despite all the abovementioned, i must admit i'm a person with no patience. Time to time, i can easily be an angry cow. I dislike waiting for people, for me waiting for a person would mean not more than 15 mins. Else, i'll be very agitated and restless. And i have a serious problem with people who do not have the sense of urgency. This always happen in college days, when we're already late for class, Andy would still take his sweet time to walk. Most of the time, he'll be at the back and i'll be running to class. How i hate this and because of this, we had quite a few roll. Andy is a person filled with patience and this is his utmost quality and the reason we can be with each other for a good 4 years and counting. After some time from college years, Andy and i did ponder on how stupid we used to argue because of going late to classes, me being so angry bimbo every morning when we fail to leave the house early. We laughed over it now, and i start to question myself. Do i need to be such at such a situation and i realise the answer is no. I have to work out on this. I have to get a serious medication of push my patience up and my angry bimbo act down. Pls remind me to be patient if i lose them at times. If only i have more times to ponder to make myself realise all this and most importantly IMPROVE!!

First was the Right, now my Left

My right feet was infected with eczema few weeks ago
.
Initially, it was just a small crack which i assumed it to be an ordinary heel cracked.
.
I happily bought Ellgy Cream to apply and the next i know, the crack turn into a 10cent wound and later to 20cent
.

I went to my panel clinic twice and all i can say is~~ LOUSY DOCTORs

The first doctor diagnosed the red spot on my feet,leg and hand as allergy reaction. Gave my some allergy cream to apply. After 1 week---not healed!

Second visit to another clinic, the doctor diagnosed it as ringworm... cream applied

--STILL NOT HEAL!!

I have a feeling that, cause its panel clinic of my company and due to limit impose to the amount charged, the medicine and cream given is of those less effective, perhaps not effective at all.

Lesson: Don't visit panel if you're "really sick"

Finally, i ended up in a skin specialist clinic, telling me its eczema and cost me RM185 @.@

After seeing 2 doctors still like this.........

I did stupidly freak myself out thinking that the wound might be caused by some flesh eating bacteria. ~STUPIDITY~

Anyway, i was relieve after seeing the 3rd doctor, the wound starts healing gradually. Thinking that FINALLY, i don't have to plaster my feet with white micropore tapes and cotton

And what the heck next.....
I injured my left feet. I cant remember how i did it, all i recall was i ter-scrip my feet on my cupboard. With less receptor on this part of my feet and considering the thickness of the skin, it took me awhile to realise that blood is flowing out.

Pre-UK summer course

Last year at this point of time, I was searching and google-ing day and night

TARC-SUMMER PROGRAMME
JMU SUMMER PROGRAMME
LIVERPOOL JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY etc….

Just in hope that I can find some useful tips and survivor skill before and during my stay at JMU in June-Sept 2009. and to my dismay, there’s only less than a hand full of blogs or website that provide such information. Of course its no easy job to write out a 100page “TARC-SUMMER PROGRAMME MANUAL”. It takes time, effort and memory juices to recall all single bits of useful information that is useful to a new Ah Lian like me who travel to angmoh land for the first time.

Therefore, this year around I thought it would be great to jolt a few words for those of you who are going to further your study in LIVERPOOL JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY- SUMMER PROGRAMME.

Just like you, the issue that top the list of my worries was $$$ the huge, fat sign of $$$. Worry tak cukup duit to use. Worry bout the cost of living in UK. Worry bout the price of food. Worry $xxx enough to shop in UK especially for the girls and not sure how much would it cost for an affordable Europe Trip before bidding sayonara to UK in Sept. Anyway, below are all based on my personal experience and I’m delivering my personal opinion. FOLLOW/ ADAPT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

CURRENCY RATE
I have been monitoring the rate everyday before heading to the counter to exchange the $$$. Basically there are you have buy 2 types of Pounds/GBP, ( the the currency of UK not the fats) One is the cash and the other is the cheque for the course fees. Public bank, Maybank, RHB bank do have their currency exchange rate posted online and the rates of different banks varies. Please be aware of the updating time. Some rate online were for the day before and some will only update the rate after a certain time of the day. So, do Not be a blind cat and exchange at the wrong rate.

On the hand for cash, you can monitor a some pengurup wang counter online, not all money changer has website. Those that I know of are these:

Wawasan money changer
KLR money changer

Through my previous observation, the counter that offer good rate are the one at centre court midvalley and the one in front of Sungai Wang Plaza Entrance. There might be other counter that offer better rate which I not know of, its wise that you research a few more money changer before exchanging. And do not be afraid to negotiate with the person, if the amount that you are exchanging is a lot, you maybe able to obtain a cheaper rate than the one display on the board. You may also gather a few friends to exchange together to increase your bargaining power with the money changer =p

AIR TICKET
I will certainly not buy the ticket from the agent recommended by college, because from what I have calculated, they earn 1/3 from the price we pay. Yes, its one third, that’s more than a Thousand ringgit from our pocket. Many worry bout booking and buying air ticket on their own. Of course, I did worry too and end up pay that the agent so much for no good reason. What I suggest to you here is, surf the airlines in the internet and I compare the price on your own. You can always check out Emirate, KLM, Qatar, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airline and MAS or even AIRASIA that fly to London. Take note that the nearest airport to Liverpool or Sheffield is Manchester Airport. Liverpool airport are only for local flights and within Europe. If you were to travel in a group, you can even book arrival at London Heathrow and spend a few days in London before the classes begin. There are many National Express coaches and train that travel from Victoria Station London to Liverpool and Sheffield daily.

2. Visited the Metropolitan Church last week
3. Had my luggage semi-packed ~ preparing for Europe
4. Received all my exam marks and TARC marks ~ don't ask, its bad
5. Had Chinese buffet, 6.20 pound
6. Clearing up tonnes of food in the fridge
7. Still kicking and desperately looking forward to Europe =)

In the first few weeks,my friends and i noticed that our eggs are missing. Chicken eggs ok, not any other eggs. So my friends decided to put they're eggs into their own room. As for me, i've put up a notice on the fridge stating......

and continue to leave MY eggs in the kitchen cabinet. Naively thinking that the pencuri will stop curi-ing eggs after a decent notice posted up.

Nothing when missing after that, or maybe something did went missing but we don't realise. We dont keep count of the number of sausages, wedges and nuggets we have, don't we. Or conduct checking on the amount of oil and milk left in the bottle. We have better things to do then doing stock check on our food in the fridge every evening.

I even wrote my name on the tray ok, just if the thief is innocent and "accidentally" took my eggs!! Which this is so impossible cause the cabinet obviously belong to me and my friend. Each of the room is allocated a cabinet in the kitchen.

But HELL!!! Yesterday i found out my EGGS ARE STOLEN!!! AGAIN!!!
Its so frustrating!! I usually consume my eggs in line.
There's 15 eggs (3 lines of 5 eggs)
I usually finish the 1st line then move on to the 2nd line but when i open my egg tray yesterday, i found out......

Its exactly 1 month i'm away from home. This is the longest period i'm away from family. I miss home little bit. Not as much as i do when i just arrived. I remembered crying on the bed on the second night after arriving in Liverpool. I'm not a baby, just that there's too much happenings before my departure. Feeling so loss and helpless when i cant be home when i'm needed. There's so much adjustment that i need to do. Anyway, all at home and Liverpool has settled down. I've get used to the environment and the feeling of missing home just fade away slowly.

Two years ago, i was planning eager to come to UK and now i'm here. I just cant believe i made it. I remember i was worrying so much that finance would be the fatty rock in my path to UK. I thought that probably or maybe i cant make it through. Recalling, when i told my bro bout my plan to UK, he scoff at it. Bad brother. But now, physically and psychologically i'm in UK. Im truly having my time here. It really works to write my dream in my dream diary. It really works to remind myself in the mirror of my goals every morning, though it sound stupid talking to myself in the mirror. Though its not scientifically proven, it doesn't matter. As long as it works, its the best strategy in the world, regardless of how stupid or dumb it may sound.

A mixture of happiness and internal satisfaction (not the stomach or liver but mind) is what i'm felling at this very point (minus missing home) I've achieved my biggest and far most expensive goal for the time being. Moving on from here, i would need to decide my next goal, my next set of dreams that i have to write and realise in my dream book. I know the end of semester is running towards me very quickly. I'm certain my next step in life will be my turning point.

Its my 6th day in Liverpool.

Homesick??

Yeah, a little bit or maybe more. Uncountable.

I left Msia on 28th May without seeing my mom and bro.

I was suppose to be in Japan on 20th-27th May with my family before i leave for UK.

But all arrangement change when the swine flu got worst there.

I cancelled my air ticket and kinda home alone for a week in KL minus the stay in Klang

And Kuantan where i manage to eat my favorite hokkien mee and ikan bakar before i leave.

Thanks to Sue and Honey keeping me accompany.

The night on 27th, i anticipated my mom and bro's arrival.

I waited for their call.

And finally,

My mom called bout 8pm when i was having my favourite seafood linguine at Delicious.

Instead of declaring their arrival, my mom said "we'll be coming back later"

My bro was admitted to Raffles Hospital in Singapore.

This means i have to leave Msia the very next day without them by my side

Ups and downs happens in life

Guess my down time is here

Its really ripping me off, knowing my bro is in the hospital, my mom has to travel back to KL herself, get back to Sg again to travel with my bro back to Msia and i cant be there for them

I know i cant breakdown in the phone while talking to my mom

Cause i know in the other end of the line, she has an even heavier load

My mom with her daugther in UK and her son in hospital

It maybe her worst experience in years

Anyway, i know my mom is a strong one

And i have to be one strong daughter here

And yupe, i tried this Chicken Legend with Burger

It taste like the Chicken burger in Msia with additional bacon topping

Taste ok ok only. 6/10 from me

I know its kinda costly after conversion

But its first day, so we take it as celebration upon arrival =p

Moreover, that very burger was 2 of my meal

Its too big to be finished for my dinner

So it became my breakfast the next day. Heheheh

My legs are dead tire after walking to town for 3 consecutive days!!

I've been walking for almost 5hours everyday!!

Crazy!! If you wander how far from my hostel to the town

Its similar to:

1. TARC walking to Jusco Wangsa Maju

2. Walking on every floor of MV for 3 rounds or maybe 4..

and something like

3. Walking from KLCC to Bukit Bintang

Anyway, all of us just have no choice but to walk unless you rent a car which i dont know how much it is

Its a good exercise though, especially for people like me who have whack up so much food in Msia before departing

Time for the calories i carried over from Msia to burn off

Having 'visited' 3 different doctors of 3 different clinic and prescribed with more than 10 medication. I'm healed alas. Being sick for almost 3 weeks is such torment. I blamed it all on the job that i did for 9 days in a roll from 10am-10pm!!

It all started when with a tiny-winny sore throat, then itchiness, then phlegm, then none stop of coughing. And thinking that its just a tiny cough at the beginning, i accelerated road to severe illness by not controlling my diet. Cant blame me la, work as a promoter at shopping mall, affordable fast food is the only optio to fill the stomach. The amount of heaty food ranging form KFC, Mc.Donalds RM5.99 lunch set, nasi lemak etc cause me misery for 3 weeks.

Fortunately, i'm well now and currently working at Taxpro Sdn. Bhd. before departing for my studies on 28th May 2009. Its a big hint here :p

12.20pm : Rise and shine, Lazee around, On the TV and comp

1.30pm : Look for breakfast, i mean lunch or more accurately brunch. At times, it could end up being teatime like today, i had my meal at 3pm!!

3.00pm : Continue to lazee after makan till the next makan time. I've just finish a book of Sophie Kinsella yesterday. Most of the time i'll just on the Korean drama loaned from my aunt. And at times i'll just ZzZZzzz through the evening. I'm a pig! I dare to admit!

Anywayz, i went to Great Eastern Mall today for meal and browse around MPH. A place for me to waste spend some time. I've got myself a planner which i feel that its becoming a necessity to me!! I'm growing up!! I'm using a planner like an adult!! =p
.
On a more serious stuff, in GEM too i saw quite a number of shop hiring for promoters and sales clerk. Since, im looking for a good pay and not a good job, i went and give a try.
.
I'm still jobless
.
One of the shop thinks that advance diploma holders shouldn't be a promoter which i agree but not when i'm desperate for the job
.
I offer to work temporary till she finds a suitable candidate since its just a costume jewellery shop and not much intellectual training is needed. She still say NO!! Bad lady =(
.
And the other shop only employed staff with at least 6mths contract. Its Starbucks hiring baristas!! Free frappucino and free lesson to make <3 on foamy coffee
.
Wtf! I should not be so honest bout the working period that i'll be available. But i'm just too goodie to lie just to get a job. Don't think i'll feel good bout it.

V-day

To me, its a total not worthy thing just to pay when any other days you enter for free

So we left while queeing with 5 couples ahead of us

Moreover, its just a bar and not club

I was there just a few weeks before V-day, its a total breathtaking place with magnificient sceneries of the KL-city

As most of you know, i'm having holidays till end of May

Looking for a temporary job and planning for my studies + trip in UK

I( cut my hand yesterday while using the skin peeler!! Blood was dripping into the sink and its.......... so frightening!! My mom wrapped my hand up with tissues till the skin stick back. Its only bout 0.5 cm. And for this, i had to take the tetanus injection.

Things i want to do

Somewhere in March last year i wrote down in my organizer a few things i wanted to do
Not many of them, just 4 items that i wrote which are:

1. Further my study to LJMU (my most hardcore wish)

2. Climb the Mount Kinabalu (more accurate - stay alive =p)
3. Get a laptop
4. Work in Fitness First

I flipped open that very page last few days.

To my amaze, 3/4 of the items has been achieved =)

1. I will be going to LJMU in this coming June

2. I'm now blogging with my laptop.
Although its not a new one but it surely fulfill the needs of mine.

3. I'm still alive after climbing Mt. Kinabalu

4. I wasn't hired by Fitness First. I rejected their offer as i got a job before their call =p

And that was my last year's wishes

This year, again i wrote down the things i want to do in the same organizer

Similar to last year, there is only a few of them.

I wrote:

1. I want to score for my last semester paper, CGPA 4.00
- pls do not laugh -

2. Go for a Europe trip after my studies in Liverpool

3. Obtain a work and travel permit in UK

A survey shows that people who had their goals written down is more likely to achieve them than those who just think of it without writing down.

Even if not all of it is fulfill, at least i know i will be further than where is not plan

I went for Candle Light Service at Wesley Methodist Church
.

It was so crowded that seats are all taken up

And plastics chairs have to be arranged on the spot to accomodate the crowd

Usually, Christians worship God through singing of praises and prayers

If you notice, most of the Christmas songs played at the malls are praises to the God
.

Such as 'Joy to the Word' and 'Silent Night'

Of course, we have candles for Candle Light Service =p

And as an affirmation of our commitment to God's, bringing hope and lighting the world

This is what i feel so good about for the past few days!!

Just some intro.....

The place where im staying at is neighbouring to a clothing warehouse area

And this mean 'warehouse sales' every now and then of the year!!

My source of satisfaction!!!! O0ohh...yeah.....

It was totally a random event that i dropped by the warehouse that day

I was really not thinking of buying anything considering that i have to buckle up my belt for UK

So i thought i'll just drop by to look look and waste some time away rather than being at home

All i have to say, its my brilliant decision!!! Hohoho.....

It was their LAST DAY and i GRABBED 3 good pieces there

The goods sold in warehouse are either rejected goods or outdated stocks

But all these doesn't bother me much as long as i get a good deal

The sweaters that i bought was rejected goods due to some problem with its zipper

And with that........the price is slash off SO MUCH......SO MUCHhhhhhh..

Guess how much i paid for these 3 pieces above??!

Its LESS than RM20 for all 3 pieces

You read it correctly, all 3 pieces below RM20!!

Fullest satisfaction comes around when i got the stuff that i wanted with a price so much lesser

Btw, the zipper problem can be fixed easily with by my mom

Replacing a new zip cost less than a ringgit (smilling with satisfaction)

Call me cheap

Its just me

I don't see the point in buying branded clothes

Its such a heartache if i know i've paid so much more for the same piece!! same design, same quality!!

Just dont' deserve more of my money.

But that doesn't mean i don't buy branded goods at all

If it comes with comfort, i would gladly pay for it.

Some time ago, i bought this pair of customized shoe sole which cost me a few hundred bucks

But its all worth for the comfort of my overpronated feet

Anyway.....

I had my very 1st fish spa today!!!

I personally don't fancy it much considering it impractical to my pocket.

A session of 30 minutes could easily cost RM38 at Kenko.

And for this price, i could have pay half the air ticket to Langkawi.

Nevertheless, i had my 1st fishy spa today.
.
Its not at any mall or shopping complexes in KL.
.
I had it in FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia).
.
Guess you're frowning there. Fish spa at FRIM??!! never a related event.

The management were actually trying this out and we're the few new customer =)
.
We just paid RM10 for 3 human.
.
Having the similar return with a so much lower output from my pocket, it surely made my day =)
.
Thus, before setting our journey into the forest, we decided to soothes our feet a little.

Besides, we dont wana murder the fishes with our smelly masam feet after our walk.

Dear Alex,

It indeed made me smile while mesmerizing those days that we once had. I must admit, i miss them alot. I miss you even more. Its sad that now im typing this, i have to use the word "those days" Those days when we all did silly things together. I'm sorry, this word that i long to say to you. Im sorry for not showing my gratitude on what you've done for me. Not knowing it until i loss a true friend who will go miles just for me. For i never really had a true friend before, im so embarrass to have forsake you. Im truly sorry and i want you to know now and always will, i appreciate the things that you've done. Picking me up even before dawn breaks, giving me surprises, making me giggle and laugh my last high school years away.

I did remember, last month was your birthday! All along, your birth date had been set in my mind and my phone. Knowing that, i did not call or greet you happy birthday. I wanted to, but taken aback. Knowing you had even better times now without me.

Recently I've watched a student exchange program on TV

It telecast the lifestyles and education style experienced by a particular student in a foreign country

There's really all the reason that i felt ashamed after watching that show.

Totally, not in a bias stand or am i specially pro-any country. But the education system there truly speak aloud of freedom of speech, freedom to explore, freedom to discover which allow the student to think so much further ahead

Its EXTREMELY A DIFFERENT EDUCATION STYLE

Over there, students were the ones who conduct and decide the flow of assembly with freedom. Every and any student were given the opportunity to speak on any matters. Students were the one who decide the courses of the semester.

Altogether,the teachers there believe that treating every students as adults and with ample freedom given, students will definitely grow up to the expected mature level naturally.

In contrast to the students in my "home", we're just all too passive. Expecting students to speak in class is already of little glimpse. Let alone speaking aloud during assembly. Its almost a dot of chance student will do.

Impossible to be able to fit into my jeans. I really had a King's kinda breakfast in Penang. Its darn cheap that i couldn't believe it. With the amount of varieties in KL, the bill could easily reach over a hundred. But in Penang, each of us is not even paying more than RM10 for all these Dim Sumsss we had. Thank goodness im not staying in Penang for long term. Else i gota change my jeans every month!

Most of the times, i just post up photos without much elaboration of the trip's arrangement. So i thought this time, i'll get into a little details, hoping this would help those of you who wants to plan such trip. Perhaps, you can avoid all the mistakes we did during the trip, hoping you'll be able to save a buck or two.

First of all, i must say its impossible to travel in Langkawi without a car. Thus, renting a car is a need. No worries for this, there's plenty of such agent along the airport exit and jetty.
.
We put a nite at Langkasuka Resort which is quite affordable. RM 350++ for a double queen size bedroom which fit 3 girls on each bed. With strictly stagnant sleeping position and i've reminded myself a billion times not to snore that 2 nites =p This resort located less than 5 mins drive from the airport and its along the beach. Its totally recommended for those who love the sun and beach.

I'm back! I'm back but I'm suffering in the toilet. Diarrhea... Waking up to "pang sai" at 3 a.m is torturing. I'm suspecting the maggi curry as the culprit of my suffering. Its cooked by my 9 year old cousin and he has this "gold-digging" habit! a.k.a nose-picking!! Thinking of it now, i shouldn't have layan him when he acted as the chef for dinner. Such torture to myself.

Anyway, 14 days of semester break, 11 days has gone!! With less than 3 days spent at home and 3 more days to go before the my very FINAL semester begin!! Anticipating it at the same time wanting to put a stop on the clock. Final semester would mean i have to work soon! Life would be a routine in less than 1 year time =(

Talking bout human adaptation, i seriously have no doubt on it AT ALL. Human is so brilliant that they just know when to do the right thing at the right time. Take this for example. When i used to be a student in school, my class just know the right time to keep quite and be obedient. That's when the principal passes by the corridor. *though im still a student but college students just don't keep quite all the time* And we just know the right teacher to bully and not be punished. Human are just brilliant.

Relating back to the trip that I've been with all Jacks. Its a real test on my adaptation skills or maybe talent it is =D

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

But...........

With all Jacks around its surely play time.

Of course being the only "Queen" among the Jacks, thou shall at the right time learn to....

Its exactly 2 months back, i was enjoying in Sabah but now i've got to get myself ready for EXAMS!! Cruel reality. Cant be playing all the time =(

Anyway, here are the stuff i treasure from Sabah.

A certificate of record and souvenir. My cert wasn't a coloured one. And that's only one reason to that, i did not make it to the top. How sad =( Anyway, the climb is truly a memorable chapter in my life.

Bet some of you must be asking why didn't i conquer the peak?!!
Please do not feel cheated if you have asked me before bout my climb and i told you it was fun. It really was fun, minus the vomiting while ascending the mountain and minus the muscle cramp after descending the mountain. Basically there were TWO question that i've been asked after coming back from KK.

1st question: Hey, How's your climb??

2nd question: Hey, did you make it to the peak??

Firstly, its was one great experience for me. I've seriously never ever walk this long and this far in my entire living days!! Imagine walking for 7 hours in a day!! Thinking bout it now, i have no idea how i made it. LOL. Anyway, a billions THANK YOU to Yuen Cheong who CONTINUOUSLY motivated me up the mountain. I really mean CONTINUOUSLY!!

Sometimes, i cant help but smile on my own when i think of the CONTINUOUS MOTIVATION situation. One great guy who motivated me from the bottom of the mount till Laban Rata. Kept telling me from my back " Keep it up, you can make it", "Keep going, keep going don't stop", " You can make it Sook Yee, you can make it" Theses are the few sentences i kept hearing till i reached the rest house. CONTINUOUSLY FOR 7 HOURS!! How could i not smile when think of it =)

Second answer: i did not make it to the top. Vomiting continuously ascending the mountain was part of the reason and other part of it.... i don't want to drag the group. Being a known thing in the group that im the weakest and most-not-fit, i pulled back. I knew that the rest intended to make it for the sunrise and with my pace. I doubt they can make it. So, i pulled back. (I'm not trying to make myself sounds like a great person sacrificing but this is truly what i thought back then) Regrets?? Of course there is. A small pat on my back. It would be a lie if i say no. Staying positive, i know i can always conquer it in future, knowing that there are friends of mine who ascended more than 3 times!! lol =)

Basically the routes were well path with foot steps. It has been walked on so frequent that its just like any other lorong belakang rumah. What makes it tough is of course that this lorong belakang rumah is ascending up a hill cum the altitude sickness that occured to me. sob.sob..

Altitude sickness is an acute exposure to low air pressure. As the air becomes thinner as we ascend, our body tend to be uneasy and causes vomiting, persistent rapid pulse, headache, dizziness etc. And i vomitted more than 3 times. Keluar all my breakfast, even the liquid that i took while ascending were all out.

A total of 6 of us who climbed the mountain. It took me bout 7 hours to reach Laban Rata (3/4 of the mountain) I know I'm slow but there's one thing that i should shout about, i've walk the longest walk so far in my life though i was slow =p

In a nutshell, i had a great time on Mount KK. Climbing with great companion and coming back with great memories.

Growing up

Childhood times at Cherating, Kuantan.

I wish to grow up quickly when i was young. Wanting to be an adult as soon as possible. I remember vividly my cousin brother who wants to grow up quickly too. The only reason. He wants to drive his dad's car. He took his driving license immediately once he reaches the qualifying age. Its so much fun talking bout it now. A child can be so childish.

Kids never want to be kids. And now am an adult, i don't want to be an adult so quickly. How indecisive a human can be. For me, driving was not the main catalyst that i wana boom from a kid to an adult. But the going-out license that trigger me. I know im silly. But i bet it happen to you too =p I can still recall, going out of the house was NOT an easy TASK. Its even more difficult than running away form a police traffic. First, you have to give your physical contribution. Be a very nice mummy's gurl out of the blue moon. Do the chores of the house, be a goodie gurl who fold the clothes without being asked, mop the floor as if i so want to do it and wash the car (exaggerated, i don't wash car). Next, you have to ASK!! Ask gently and softly to the authority to grant the permit to go out with your friends. The humour is that after all these hard work, there's no certainty on the permit! Anyway, of course being my mom for years, she ain't blind or stupid to understand the reason behind my goodie act =D I just have to say, who can understand their offspring better than mom??

All in All, its not an easy phase for my mom to let me off her hands. Sometimes, there are furious argument over such issue. Growing up of a child would mean losing a child for most mom. Back then i never realised what all these mean. Looking back at it now, i knew it would be lonely for my mom to lose me. Her only companion to go market and shopping for groceries. Her only companion to the bank and have chores done at home. Sigh. I miss those days which my mom will carry my school bag while walking home. How nice it could be if she can still carry my bag in college. Textbooks are heavy. Hahahahh.... I miss those days which my mom and i used to hold hands to cross the road. I know. I know i can still hold my mom's hand now. Once i attempted but failed. She crossed the road even before i can held her hand. LoL.

I'm never tire in searching for thumbs-up dinner place. Personally, a good dinner place would mean yummy food + good service and great ambiance. Although the food in Palate Palatte did not really tickle my taste bud much but the atmosphere certainly did. The restaurant is cozy with painted decorations on the wall.

Four subject in a semester sounds relaxing. But this isn't true, its really nasty when each of these comes with 2 assignments each.

4 subject X 2 assignments = 8 hell's work!!

As much as i want to finish up all my work, i just hate myself for procrastinating so much. Lying on the bed, reading. But not my textbook or notes!! That's just bad! How things never get done till due date. Anyway, one thing for sure out of all mess, i work better under pressure. Assignment completed over night, compiling of project in 3 hours time. I'm amazed how well i work under great pressure. If only i could behave everyday as if exams are tomorrow, i'll surely do well.

There's 2 more assignment to go before finals. Advanced Taxation and Malaysian Corporate Secretarial Practice. Approximately four weeks to go before my final comes. Four weeks more before i can redeem my freedom. Four weeks more before i can treat myself and go for a holiday.

I woke up on Sunday morning with nothing in plan for the weekend. The only agenda for the day, is to complete my analysis and 16 different pie charts of assignment.

Anyway, mom made my Sunday evening a good one. She made a plan to her friend's orchard in Ulu Langat. Being her obedient daughter and ever-ready driver.I drove mommy and her friend up to Ulu Langat town where we meet up with the owner of the orchard, Uncle Soon.

With no way a Kenari car can go thru mud and hills.
We took a 4-WD into the orchard.
The road is real bumpy... Bump you backside up and down

Breath-taking scenery makes all pie a worthy pies...
I'm willing to stay here forever...

A tree could easily bear more than 20 mini-Jack and there's hundreds of such tree.

Its a huge orchard which walking from one end to another takes more than 30mins.

This stacks of Mr. Jack cost RM400. Its usually sold to "goreng pisang" stalls.

Besides the uncountable number of trees in the orchard. There's a pond of fishes. And when i said fishes, its really lotsa lotsa fishes. Uncle Soon rare them and fish them during his past-time with friends. Its such a WHOA!!!thing telling people, I fish at my own pond!! I mean, how many of us own such a fish pond in KL?? not man-made ponds

Two weeks back i heard an ad from the radio. Its bout a guy who cycled all the way back from Los Angeles, California to Malaysia. At the beginning, i thought its just any other random ad from the radio but it wasn't, at least to me. There maybe some variation in the words but the content goes the same like this :

" Everyone wants to do something extraordinary, but the thought of doing it often lasted for a moment of time and the next thing before you know, you might have just forgotten the dreams that you have thought of"

This sentence really rings a bell in me, I'm sure everyone have some or at least one extraordinary thing (dream) that each of us want to achieve in life. I'm not sure how many you have, but i know i have quite a number of it. Dreams that I've been pondering. Dreams that i would want to achieve in my life. Dreams that i want to put into reality besides pondering. And one that i have, is to further my studies in UK in June 2009.

In my definition, dreams are something that we could place no where but in our memories. Dreams are something that make us no regret in the end of our life. Dreams are something that makes us smile when we recall them at old age. Dreams are something which we can tell others, "I've done it!!"

Some dreams maybe cheap. Some dreams are expensive. No matter what dreams it is, one thing for certain it always comes with a cost, be it in terms of monetary, physically or mentally. Probably, these cost are the essential recipe to make a dream worth achieving and drive us feeling proud in doing it.

I truly believe the most crucial element in achieving our dreams is the 1st step of it. And today, I've decided to start something new. My 1st step closer to my dreams. That is to start:
MY DREAM BOOK!

This would be a book that record all my dreams that i want to put into reality.
A book that would make me work hard and know why.

This is a birthday gift from Precious Moments. I used to write my thoughts in this book which most of it are bitter ones. But for now onwards, its still will be my thoughts that I'm going to write in, but this time it will be my thoughts of achieving dreams.

To the bin it goes for the bad memories.

Why keep the bad when there's plenty of good ones awaiting for me =)
